Stocks – the largest US IPO since 2012, choppy week for retail favourites

Alzamend Neuro (NASDAQ:ALZN) 8/11/21

We think the stock can break above $4 with the recent volume and large ownership and see $7 in the near future. The risk is related to the preclinical trial stage, so if you are looking to place your money, keep an eye on this news.”

Darktrace (LSE:DARK) 9/11/21

“If the share price was lower, it would maybe be more attractive as a punt for a potential buyout further down the line by a larger company to acquire the IP. However, at 650p the market cap stands at £4.3bn. Whichever financial metric you look at, we struggle to find one that makes this valuation stack up, even on growth multiples.”

Robinhood (NASDAQ:HOOD) 10/11/21

“Negative sentiment in the investor community seems high and retail popularity is waning. The company’s Q3 earnings were also disappointing, as revenues dropped 35% from Q2.We maintain our house view that was published in August. We believe the upcoming periods will continue to be difficult for Robinhood and would recommend to avoid the stock.”

DoorDash (NYSE:DASH) 10/11/21

“DoorDash stock jumped up 16% after their earnings releases as the company announces they reached a deal to acquire Finnish delivery operator Wolt in an all-stock deal worth $8.1B. This will be the most expensive takeover yet in Europe’s hyper-competitive rapid delivery market.”

Disney (NYSE:DIS) 11/11/21

“Although the Metaverse is a fairly new reality for tech (whilst ironically not being at all a reality), Disney is one of the few bug names to adopt this. I think the potential is huge for this line of technology and we only know the surface of its potential.”

Rivian Automative (NASDAQ: RIVN) 11/11/21

“There is no denying the potential opportunities within the EV market right now, as more and more governments and consumers are making the move towards sustainable choices, including electric cars. If Rivian is able to follow the path paved by Tesla and execute its plan of ramping up commercial production and sales, this stock could be a gamechanger in your portfolio in the coming years.”

Virgin Galactic (NYSE:SPCE) 12/11/21

“We like Virgin Galactic and think it’s a strong buy at $19. We take positive from the quarterly results this week, particularly the seat sales and outlook for 2022”

Crypto – mainstream rally pauses, looking elsewhere for options

Cardano (ADA) 9/11/21

“The bullish sentiment is strong right now after the US claimed they would never ban them. I can’t see many roadblocks to put a pause on the current moves we are seeing.”

“Most of these coins have no more value than the dog inspired ones, in terms of use or ability. This is simply a speculative play based on the growth of the crypto space and also the momentum that could be driven as investors turn to look at what could be the next big thing in this space.”
