Stocks – finding value both sides of the Atlantic

Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT)– 14/02/22

As a global security, innovation, and aerospace company, the majority of Lockheed Martin’s business is with the U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. federal government agencies. In addition, Sikorsky (a Lockheed Martin Company) provides military and rotary-wing aircraft to all five branches of the U.S. armed forces along with military services and commercial operators in 40 nations. The remaining portion of Lockheed Martin’s business is comprised of international government and commercial sales of products, services and platforms.

Ocado (LSE:OCDO) – 15/02/22

Importantly, the retail division grew revenue by 4.2% and EBITDA by 1.9%. This helps to show in our opinion that this arm can still grow even with an open economy and no lockdown restrictions. We think that Ocado shares could rally as this cash cow shows steady growth, with overall growth being shown from the solutions and logistics divisions.

Upstart Holdings (NASDAQ:UPST) – 16/02/22

In fact, rather than seeing the 20% yield as an overly high dividend per share, it’s more a case of the yield being pushed up from a falling share price. If you’re of the opinion that the issue with Ukraine will taper off, and that production levels and sales will pick back up this year, it does seem to be an attractive dividend play.

Affirm Holdings (NASDAQ:AFRM) – 09/02/22

“With triple-digit growth and record profits, Q4 was an exceptional finish to a breakout year for Upstart. 2021 will be remembered as the year AI lending came to the forefront, kicking off the most impactful transformation of credit in decades,” said Dave Girouard co-founder and CEO of Upstart.

Crypto – is this the start of the recovery?

BTC and ETH Technicals – 18/02/22

The big picture for crypto is still a story of falling from its glory. The interest will still be there if there are further signs of a reversal. With Bitcoin and crypto, prices can move fast. Keep an eye out incase this is the start of the next bull run.
